Foosball tables
A Foosball Overview –
Foosball is commonly categorized as both a game and a sport. To
many it is simply a game based on the sport of soccer/football. To
an ever growing number of foosball enthusiasts it has evolved into a
sport in its own right. There are professional foosball players,
player’s associations and a growing number of foosball competitions.
Regardless of your skill level, this amazing game/sport will
certainly provide years of enjoyment. The Objective of this game is
to maneuver your 4 rods to control your 13 player figures to drive
the ball towards your target goal. Sounds easy enough… until you
have to keep your opponent(s) from doing the same!
Pool tables
Shooting pool evolved from a lawn game - a form of French croquet. A
ball (or bille, hence the title billiards) would be shoved around a
lawn or field by wooden maces. Since the French Royalty of the time
hated to sweat, they decided to create a version of the the game
they could play inside. So, they designed a table with pockets to
shoot the balls into. In order to keep the connection to the lawn,
the game table was covered with green felt to symbolize grass. How to play
pool you ask? Well, even if you do not know the rules, kids love
it, just be cautious with your pool stick.
